The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a 77-year-old man who has been missing for several months.

Walter James Rau was last seen in the area of Coyote Springs and New Mexico Highway 333 near Carnuel, according to the sheriff’s office. Authorities have classified Rau as an endangered missing person due to the length of time he has been gone.
